Guess my comment didn't post. Again, One species found. Other species extinct. Circle of life I guess. It's when man causes the extinction that makes me upset.

If we can miss a pink lizard for this long, Nessie and Sasquatch may still be out there!

The pink iguana looks really cool. I wonder if there is a program to spay/neuter the feral cats on the islands.

Scientific exploration is still so interesting! Just as many, many species are going extinct (at an unprecented rate!), it's fascinating that some are still being discovered. I wonder how many go extinct before we even know about them?

That's pretty cool. It's amazing how new species keep popping up. I hope they don't go extinct now, the way a lot of animals are going.

Its amazing how often we still find new species of anything. Animals, plants, insects etc. But it is very interesting. I hope this doesn't start a pink iguana trend. Animals should never be a trend. People get certain animals for all the wrong reasons and then give them up.

Hmm. Indangered due to people visiting their habitat...yet now they will come in evern more numbers to study the indangered animals. Good luck with that.

It's always amazing that we still find new species. How many more are out there? Man destroys rainforests and other habitats--how many undiscovered animals as well?

I went to Ecuador in college...I didn't have the money to go on the trip to the Galapagos though...just think...I could have been the one to discover the pink iguana!!! Just kidding. Actually...it looks more like a sickly fleshy-grey color than pink to me....I think I like the green ones better.

It just goes to show that there are still many species or subspecies of animals yet to be discovered. There is still so much to learn & so much we can learn from them.
