love to see a story like this. greyhound racing is a dangerous and disgusting "sport". i'm happy to see many tracks being shut down and i think comet is a great ambassadog for his breed. w/all the dog tracks closing, there's many more retired racers in need of good homes. these are great dogs for just about any family.

the people who run the tracks are closing them due to lack of interest. they are closing because they are not making money not because the people who run them have good hearts

that's a much nicer smile than what's called "the greyhound smile" where they peel their gums up in non-aggressive way to show their teeth. the first time my greyhound did that was to my friend who had never heard of it before. she thought my dog was gonna attack her!

Comet has an amazing smile. Thank goodness for the rescuers. One of our local shelters just placed a couple rescued greyhounds. They are such wonderful dogs.

Comet was born to be a "star". As with any "comet", the sky is the limit!

All animals smile if they are happy even insects do and I don't think everyone realizes that. Skitters, Teddy, Shorty and spot are always smiling. Cricket never smiled until she started living with my grandma and grandpa. Meow smiled after he found out that not all people are heartless like the ones that abused him were. There are so many others animals that I have seen smile too I can't count them all and it would take forever to name all of them off but you get what I'm saying right I know you do.
