Its strange that the murderer attacked pigs. Maybe its because they are so close to humans? Its just so disturbing. The person needs to be put away for a long while.

This is really horrible, and the police need to focus on this case and the killer. There is a direct link between brutal animal killings and the future killings of humans. This community is dealing with a very sick individual in their midst, and people need to hear about this story and take it seriously.

My condolences go out to the little girls for their loss. I'm sure that was a traumatizing thing to see that will forever haunt their minds. Why torture, then kill, an animal then just leave it for the animals owners to find? That is just sick and cruel. I hope these sickos are found and prosecuted.

This is disturbing on several levels. First, it seems it was for sport. Second, the killings weren't quick - being attacked by dogs and ultimately being stabbed would be prolonged and painflu. Third, the "scalping" that the killer felt necessary. It's chilling.

This is sooo sad.... I had two potbelly pigs and when my first one was only three months old, she got attacked by 3 weiner dogs.. it's was horrible and I felt terrible. People are so terrible..

What is it going to take to get the government officials to WAKE UP & understand that EVERY TIME we read a story like this that we have ANOTHER POTENTIAL THREAT to HUMANS coming on the scene. Its better to deal with these up & coming monsters BEFORE they grow into adults & start terrorizing neighborhoods & campuses. Maybe the wrong people are out there having kids is another thought. Maybe we'd have a better chance of winning here by taking on the parents to be. Maybe it should be a privilege to bring a life into the world INSTEAD OF these people who think its their God given RIGHT to drop one right after another and not teach them anything about responsibility or show them any kind of love. Its these kids that never know love, or the feeling of being needed, or friendship or anything else positive that are directing their anger & evilness upon animals. As they get older & more skilled at their craft of torturing animals they take on bigger prey like small children/handicapped children. When are we going to get to a point as a society and say 'ENOUGH'!
