we all that want what is best for our furry friends are so against animal mills and do agree that each animal deserves a great family or owner. I support recycled pets, and giving them a second chance, and so much today since there are those that have lost their families due to the economy, hope 2010 solves allot of these issues.

Yes, I have 3 dogs and 6 cats, and I adopted them all from the rescue center, because they deserve to have a new, nice family.

Adopt,rescue and adopt ! Can emphasize this enough! I am throughly sick of seeing deliberately bred mixed breeds sold for outrageous prices in the newspaper classifieds to people too dim to know better.

Mr. John Bartlett came up with a wonderful idea, and I hope it catches on! Anything we can do to increase adoptions, even if it helps just one animal; it was worth doing.

"Animal Friends" in Pittsburgh apparently holds a "Black Friday" adoption event. I think I heard that each (qualified) adopter got a $75 gift card today (but I can't remember to which store).

Yes, by all means, visit and adopt from a shelter or animal rescue, and avoid puppy mill purchases!!!!
