I'm not sure how the donkey was rigged so that it could (involuntarily) go parasailing, but I imagine it would be similar to what the rescue workers do when they "air lift" an injured or horse, cow, or whatever. The rescue workers may not have a choice--and they ARE doing that to SAVE the animal--but the animal's FEAR would have to be about the same.

There is no legitimate reason to take a donkey on a "recreational parasailing" ride. People need to use some common sense and try to put themselves in the animal's position before deciding that what they intend to do is "acceptable".

IF donkeys were meant to "fly", they'd have wings like DUMBO!!!

I meant to write "injured or incapacitated" above (but "flew" by the word "incapacitated")...

It blows me away that people could not think about how this poor donkey would feel about parasailing. Glad people responded and he is in safe hands.

Thank goodness saner heads prevailed & realized how terribly cruel that was! I can't believe anyone would think that was okay. I'm glad she's now in safe hands & I hope she finds a loving home soon.
