Don't know why it was shut down but if it was therapy for these animals it is a shame to close it.

No available LINK. Would have liked to seen it for proper commeting. Animals losing "rights" is aways disturbing, just like our citizens losing rights every day under our government, as a whole.

It is really sad when great programs fall apart from lack of funding and yet billions of dollars are wasted in this country on celebrities, entertainment, a war no one wants and the list goes on and on. I hope they can find a new place and get this program back up and running.

Unfortunately, Dog Run is yet another fatality of the extraordinarily high rents in New York City's "trendy" areas. This seems to be a wonderful facility. Swim therapy works miracles for some ailing dogs. Perhaps they should try the outer boroughs. I wish them all the best.
