The collar's safety feature only works when it is OFF leash. When it's ON leash the clip rings are held together and it's just like a regular collar!

Wonderful! I'm going to look for the website as soon as I get done with this comment. This collar sounds like a product I could really use. I live in the country and let my dogs out to run a couple of times a day. I usually let them out without their collars because I don't want them to get hung up on a fence or tree limb. However, I've always worry because they don't have any noticeable identification on them(they are microchipped). I will definitely look into this innovative product. Glad to see they are looking for a manufacturer in the USA. Hope they are successful.

I think this collar really is a wonderful thing. I have personally seen a dog almost choke it's self to death on a collar by getting it stuck on a child's outdoor slide. It's great that they are so cheap too!

I can't wait for the Doggie Diaper bag to be put on the market. I think Murphy needs one :)

Wow. I would love to have that collar. A few months ago my dog came into the house shaking and terrified, his collar missing. We think he got hung up on the woodpile and got scared...so I would love to have that collar.

If they make it through this year, they will be fine. The economy should be back on its feet by last 2009 early 2010.

I came home one day and found my dog standing on her tippy toes trying to keep from choking, because her collar caught on the fence, that she tried to jump. Thank God she wasn't hurt or worse. Congratulations on a fabulous idea and new product.

Once you clip on the leash the collar is just like any other, it's only when they are off leash that they can escape!

I believe this product is a good idea. Dog collars should be able to strech a little just incase it does get stuck on a wired fence, so the dog can get free. i hope this product goes far. good job.

i think that the new collars for dogs are a great idea because i wouldn't want to suffer the loss of a pet because of his collar ettign snagged. i think that these new collars after people figuring that they work and it is worth the money to purchase them that they will really become a good pet safety call.

It is not east for a dog to hang itself, but I would rather be safe than sorry. P.S. I would only get it for dogs 6 and under because older dogs probably would not hang themselves.
