I just don't think Nibbles or Phil really have anything to do with what Mother Nature decides.

I think winter is winter and groundhogs don't change that fact by their so-called predictions.

I'm sure we'll hear from Punxsatawney (sp?) Phil, if not Nibbles, too, in just a few days from now. It's been a long, cold winter across North America, guys. If Feb. 2 is a sunny day this year, think you could fudge a little on that shadow business? How did Groundhog Day get started, anyway? Think I'll do a journal on it.

Nibbles hit it right here, we have had horrible weather -- cold and probably more snow in the last few weeks than all of the rest of winter. I am so ready for warm weather.

Good for Nibbles - I think she and Phil were both right about the additional 6 weeks to winter! I have to side with Phil as my favorite however since I am a native Pennsylvanian!

The groundhog in Ohio said it would be an early spring. Boy was he wrong! Two weeks ago we had a record 20.4 inches of snow!! Bad groundhog ;-)

That was something wasn't it. It started snowing and did not stop. My Tabitha kept going to the window and growling at it. Guess even cats get tired of snow.
