For our wedding, we really wanted my moms dog to be our ring bearer but our church wouldnt allow him inside. So instead, i had no ring bearer.

actually the more I think about it.. my kids would perform.. not exactly in the manner expected for such an occasion.. and I am sure the planner/ trainer would be devastated.. I could just see Thai and the dogs running amok in and around people.. chasing each other playing tag..

If it is just a doggie wedding then that is fine but I think that getting your married just to breed them is wrong becuase we don't need more unwanted puppies in the world. The dogs should both be spayed and neutered and like each other and should live together. You can do puppies if you can garuntee good homes for all of them and promise that they will not end up in a shelter and also get the phone numbers of the new owners and give them yours so you can check in on the puppy every now and then or their address. Also if they have your phone number they can return the pupppy to you and you can keep it or find it another new home. I would not reccomend breeding them though.

Most couples are usually so busy (and stressed) preparing the basics for their own wedding that there is little or no time to be thinking about accommodating pets at a reception or elsewhere. I could see including pets if/when there is a SMALL wedding (such as in a SECOND marriage), but this would be difficult to do for even a medium-sized FIRST wedding and reception.
