The flotation device sounds interesting. Let's hope the humans wear theirs, too.

i wonder if anyone makes a reasonably priced first aid kit for animals. it can be a hassle putting one together on your own.

Skitters would never carry anything like this I just carry her things in a small backpack, my pockets or in a duffle bag for a camping trip or spending the night at grandma's house.

I love to be able to take my pets when I am on the go. Anything that keeps them safer is a plus for me. Some of these products sound great.

I love the idea of the safety vests for dogs that go out on a boat. It's about time someone thought about them. I just hope the dogs will keep them on.

As usual, it seems that the innovations are largely designed for DOGS. That's great for the dogs, BUT what about the cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.???

perhaps cats could benefit from the small dog harnesses and floating devices? though i don't know why they wouldn't market it as such though.
dogs do the most traveling, but i'd like to see variations for other species as well.

I agree, Jillian and MZ. It would be great to see some ideas, for example, to keep the smaller animals safer in case of an accident if they are traveling by car. I don't even want to think about Max being thrown around inside his carrier if there was an accident with him in the car no matter how well the carrier might be secured.

If squirrels can water ski, I don't see why guinea pigs couldn't, too.
