It seems to me that there are far too many recalls lately. Not just with Iams, but with everything from baby toys to medicines. What ever happened to quality control?

I really don't think Iams is a great company-with all the recalls, it just makes me think that they're too lax. Although I despise PeTA, I do sometimes take what they say into account, so I refuse to buy Iams as they're cruel (I also still refuse to support PeTA). It's always good to buy well-known name brands, but that still won't assure you that another recall won't happen. I stick with Blue Buffalo!

Iams certainly has had quite a few recalls in the past few years. That alone speaks volumes about the company not having pet's best interests at heart. I can honestly say that i haven't ever fed my cats Iams and I certainly won't now in light of the latest recall. Purina ONE all the way!

Iams is a popular brand of food for dogs and cats. But I don't use it I use stuff like friskies for my cats and purina for my cats as well. As for my dog Skitters I feed her Rachel Ray Nutrish. I don't uderstand why pet food keeps on having all of these recalls on it. It seems like the people who make it just want to make money from it.
