I am glad that she is helping find homes for the homeless animals. I just wish that we had more celebrities like her and that the media would find the time to tell more stories like this and less about their personal lives.

I couldn't agree more! Adopt, adopt, adopt! How can people support puppy mills when there are so many homeless animals out there being euthanized on a daily basis? I would gladly adopt more animals if I could afford them, but alas I can't. I already have 4 rescued dogs. 2 came from the local shelter and 2 came from free puppy ads and they all have their own stories to tell! Alas, each of us need to do what we can to rescue the animals in our communities! God bless the individuals who do!

I agree! It's always great to see celebrities get involved and use their name recognition to bring more attention to their causes.

Wow, what a great story. However, I did find it a bit long, almost losing my interest a few times. Nonetheless, it's awesome! I certainly would love to see more shelter's stop the euthenasia as I truly feel in my heart of hearts that, every fur baby has a forever home out there just waiting to find them!
Great story!
