Pffffffttttt...this movie won't promote big dog awareness anymore than any of the other movies over the years have promoted awareness for the particular dog breed that they featured. As long as there are people out there that indulge in impulse buying dogs as if they were accessories there won't be awareness of any kind.
All the puppy mills and backyard breeders see movies like this as an opportunity to make money.Case in point, a coworker recently saw some backyard breeder selling Great Dane puppies in the local Walmart parking lot.

It's true that movies tend to give people ideas they normally wouldn't have, like getting a large dog, even though they might not be able to take proper care of it. I've always liked larger dogs, but am too old for them at this point in my life. As we age, many things need to be scaled down! I can't wait to see the movie, though!

I have always really liked big breed dogs. I want a pittbull and I also have always wanted a mastiff and great dane. But I would always rather adopt than buy a dog or a puppy. I would rather adopt any animal than buy it. Right now cause I live at home and it was never up to me were we got our pets from I have Teddy who we adopted and as for the other two they were not adopted.
