MICHIGAN – According to DogCat Radio, Detroit based automaker Ford Motor Company is top dog among other manufacturers.

DogCat Radio is a nationally broadcasted station that focuses on pet lovers. As part of their content, the station reviewed automobiles from various manufacturers, basing the review on a number of qualifications.

Testing for spaciousness, safety, fuel economy, affordability, and creature comforts, they named the “Ford Taurus X” winner.

According to DogCatRadio.com, among other attributes, the ' Taurus X' touts six airbags, a V6 engine and plenty of room for a family and their pets.

DogCatRadio CEO Adrian Martinez said value and safety were at the top of their priorities in choosing the winner.

Animal trainer Kathryn Segura says with the animal loving community putting out over $40 billion on their pets this year, car manufacturers will have to take pets into consideration with future designs.

Designers of the Ford Taurus X, it seems, already has that fact in mind.

They came out with that new petsafe car but I can't remember who made it.

Doesn't seem that this was enough to help stop Ford's downward spiral.
