You may not dress your dog up every time you leave your house or perhaps you and "Tinker Bell" enjoy wearing the latest fashions together. Regardless, having your dog wearing a "blinged out" collar never meant this much....

Top fashion designers came together at North Shore Animal League's DogCatemy Celebrity Gala and designed gorgeous collars that you only wish you could wear yourself. The only thing is, it's for your dog. Although, it is a luxury item and not a necessity, it was created with a good cause in mind.

Those who attended this event in New York's financial district placed bids on these pieces and all the proceeds went straight to NSAL. Which means, each dollar helped feed, house, and eventually find a home for an orphaned animal.
