This is also kidnapping. So what happened to these people? I would like an update on what their punishment was if any. A fine & a slap on the wrist?

I wonder what happens to the animals that have already been sold to people--do they have to give them back to the pet stores they were stolen from?

What took them sooo long to catch these guys? That is a lot of animals moved in and out without anyone noticing.

At least the animals were well cared for, and the perpetrators have been arrested.

So glad these 3 people were caught, from the story I got the animals were well cared for. I am amazed you can sell live animals on the internet.. I thought that was illegal... Duh!! stealing them was a crime why would I think they would not sell them on the internet. Hope they are jailed...

I understand The Internet is responsible for a lot of exotic animal sales. It should be against the law. Exotic animals should stay in their natural habitat. I hope these guys get some time and a stiff fine. Also, the pet store owner lost $50K to the thieves? The pet store owner is just as guilty as the black marketers. Why won't people stop this practice...well...maybe $50K tells the story!

Why would the internet allow the sale of exotic pets among individuals? They should also be charged with selling exotic pets across state lines. Jail is too good for them.
