One very lucky dog that the zoo employees thought so quickly to help him.

I agree with Lily about having your dogs micro-chipped. What an experience all the way around.

Another example of why micro-chipping dogs is very helpful. Unless, that is, the dog was abandoned. Poor critter, being chased by people and then attacked by a tiger. Hopefully he'll find a good home if his people don't turn up. And if they do turn up, I hope they have to pay his medical bills.

Well this dog had an experience he will never forget! What a wild ride...chase.
But poor dog, a stray and of course frightened by being chased. Then up over the fence into the lion's den! I imagine the lion could have immediately killed the dog. Hopefully, she was "domesticated" enough not to immediately go for the jugular kill.

Was the dog acting on a dare from his friends ("it's only a big cat")? I'm glad he's ok though.

Obviously the dog was disoriented or scared, and probably hungry. I'm glad to hear she's doing well know, and will hopefully find a good home.

Hmmm. Bite wounds on the neck sounds like hunting experience wasn't really needed, instinct took over for the cat.
Glad the dog is fine, but once again, dog without tags or microchip. If they find the owners, fine them for the cost of the vet bills and place the dog with people that know how to properly care for a dog. Tags and microchips are a necessity nowadays.

They don't need to try to find the owner. He apparently is not too concerned about this dog, or it wouldn't have been wandering loose. Turn the dog over to the humane society, and let them find a caring home for it.
