why would anyone want to drag a dog behind a truck? Like whats the thought pattern here?? Was it a mistake?? Wasn't that on a movie>?

I hope they punish the creep that hurt the poor dog. I'm glad he will be adopted and recover from his ordeal. People always line up to adopt animals with horror stories like this one, but I wish they would also consider any animal in a shelter as a special needs animal who needs a loving home.

Once again, I am somewhat disturbed by the number of people who come forward to adopt a marginally famous animal. I am willing to bet that there are plenty of animals in shelters in the Atlanta area for all 20 applicants to go home with a pet. It's good Sparky will get a home but what of the other animals. Will the other 19 applicants or at least the ones that are deemed good adopters look at other animals?

Once they find him I hope they give him a $10,000 fine for the reward! That is horrible what that dog had gone through, but I hope the shelter finds a great companion for him that will take care of him. I hope there is an update on him!!!My prayers go out to this little puppy!

That guy will be caught sooner or later doing some other despicable act. People that cruel don't stop, they escalate! I am so happy that poor dog found a good home. I cannot imagine the suffering he went through, and then to maintain a positive, loving attitude through it all! We could all take some lessons from the animal kingdom!

I hope they catch this guy before he hurts someone else; however it seems unlikely at this point. I don't understand how someone can be so cruel. There are a lot of options if you don't want a dog any longer, tying him to the back of a truck and driven down the road shouldn't even cross someone's mind.

If some son of a bitch deliberately tied Sparky to a truck and dragged him down a highway, they deserve to be punished, punished BADLY. If someone "merely" forgot he was there, that person is purely an ass. Whatever really happened, the tough pooch is sure to end up in a safer and happy place.
