I am always kind to animals and always do my part to help out. I wish that I could get Meow adopted out though he is the cat that I took to rescued paws and have the final say on his new home. Also he is online on petfinder if you would like to see him but he has been renamed Markus.

maybe have those rubber braclets for sale on the site that say be kind to animals and t-shirts for sale too and then take the money from it and donate it to an animal shelter that needs the money really bad.

People really should always be nice to animals. It's heartbreaking to know that people abuse them no matter what. It's scary. People should open their eyes. One day, it's gonna be too late.

i find people who abuse animals are the ones that would sbuse childre and people but are not brave enough. so the poor animals get it

it's up to each and every one of us to put a stop to it. like it says in the lorax by dr. suess, "UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. it's not."
report animal cruelty, educate people when you can, and if you see an injured or abandoned animal, put in the extra effort to help them. there's not enough people out there who bother to take those extra steps, but there are enough animal lovers to make that difference if they would open their eyes and put their minds to it.

Every day should be kind to animals day. How to make this concept stick outside of a week long "celebration"? Recognition, compasssion, tolerance and time are the most critical needs of any shelter or rescue group. Don't get me wrong, money helps too, but volunteer time is a very precious commodity that should be appreciated, treasured and sought after.

I would add "Donate Money And/Or Time To A Shelter" to the list of ways to help! Shelters can always use extra money and help, and the "Be Kind To Animals Week" would be a good week to make a contribution (although ANY week is GOOD).

i'm surprised that's not on here. there's so many ways to help that involve having some one-on-one time w/the animals. even if it's just rescuing the hurt bird in your yard or taking an elderly couples dog for a walk. there's not shortage of animals in need, but the world could definitely use more people willing to help.
