I have heard of doggie life guards before the thing is they can't use them at an actual swimming pool and anymore thats what people use unless they are surfers and if they go out to take a swim in the river or the ocean I think that is just dangerous and stupid unless you are a very execpireneced swimmer.

i think the zoo had an article on how a town tried to stop a dog from being a lifeguard. but they may have dhanged their minds

one thing they probably have to be certified. my landlord has a pond and we were going to bring the newfs to practice till he told us there were snapping turtles in the pond. scratch that idea
