This hoarder needs jail time. She needs to be permanently out of business. This hoarder needs to be taught a lesson. This is the second time around.A slap on the hand won't work.

I hope all the living dogs that were rescued were able to be treated and are healthy by now...and that none of them were in such bad condition that they'd have to be put down. A rescue shelter?? I can see if the place were clean, the dogs were healthy and happy and being fed, but 24 dead canines? This woman has serious problems, even after 1 died I would've asked for help. She should never be able to own an animal again.

These types of situations are so horrible. I hope they rule she can never have pets again, though a person like that will sneak them in.

I wish the U.S would mandate SPAY and Neuter laws. I feel so bad about all the animals that had to endure this kind of treatment. I hope they get over it and find homes.

I think that this a horrible thing for someone to do. If she got in over her head, she should have handed some animals over to a local shelter or tried harder to find them homes rather then keeping them and letting them suffer. This is a very cruel and inhumane thing to do and puppy mills are discusting deals!

I don't understand how Lore can use the excuse she got in over her head.. This was the second time this happened.!! I don't condone the first , but shouldn't that have been your wake up call to slow down on the resucing and increase trying to find other places to take the animals..

This story kills me for the simple fact the lady said she was running a breeding facility and rescue in the same sentence! Once cited these people should be heavily monitored, how could it gotten out of hand this bad before being noticed? I really do hope some of these animals lives will be saved by being able to get adopted unfortunately in most cases the health is so bad for them they will be euthanized.

It is a mental desiese like everyone keeps saying...it's hoarding but with live things. They mean do to well by doing this they just get carried away. If they can properly care for the animals and they have legal rights to keep them fine...if not please get these hoaders help.

The second time she was cited? Can we please just prohibit this woman from owning any animals? I hope she sees a stiff punishment from this.

This is just some wannabe puppy mill. She just threw in rescue to not sound so awful! She got in over her head alright! She probably wanted to make some money and get into the breeding business and didn't know what she was doing. They should have watched her if she had already done something like this before! It wouldn't have gotten this far!

Maybe her intentions started out as for the good of the animals. But somewhere along the line, like at dog number 20 at most, she should have stopped herself and ask, "would it be better if I were to give these animals to a shelter where they will always have fresh water, food, a place to play, and a clean place to sleep?" She should have realized that she couldn't do this on her own and done what was best for the animals. It is sad that so many animals died before she was busted but hopefully, the rest of them will find loving homes.
