What a cool idea. It is nice to see an event for kids that have small pets. Most of the events we see focus on cats or dogs.

Guinea pigs can't roll in hamster balls. They have fragile spines and could break their backs. If they had relay races, I might do it.

oh i wouldn't put them in a bowl. they can't go fast enough to get away. i would love it. just think they could have a beauty pagent and miss curly would win and most handsome for the big r and mountain climbing for miss you know who ( we don't want her head to get any bigger) and miss pika could teach how to live alone. and they all get eating contests

I love my hamster. He enjoys his wheels, he has a motorcycle too, but the ball is easier to manuever.

When I had hamster's I didn't know that the hamster derby was around. But also they would try and run on top of the hamster wheel and on the side of it all the time too. This is great so that people can have a special bonding time event with their hamsters just like they can with their dogs.
