I'm afraid for the little two faced cat. They often don't survive and if it does, will someone adopt it just to make money showing it around? I hope they are very careful in their choice for that little one. She may need special care down the road. Please spay her also to prevent passing on the defective genes.

Wow--a cat with two faces. Each can meow? Interesting.....I guess it's the same thing as birth defects in humans, huh?

Sometimes euthanasia should be considered. Especially for the two-faced animal

I agree with Lily. You see more and more changes in animals now and I think it is due to our impact on the environment.

Mutations show up in every population; be it animal or plant. This is how evolution goes. Unfortunately, it seems like there is more at play these days than just evolution and random mutation of genes. Chemicals of all manner are being created and dumped into our living space. We're bound to see more and more of this sort of mutation. How sad.

Unfortunately, two-headed kittens almost never survive, even if they appear to be healthy. As for the 5-legged cat, I'm glad they were able to fix her up so she can be functional!

I hope whoever is responsible for the cat with two faces does not take advantage. There was a cat born my my town with two heads and after a time it "disappeared". It probably was sold to someone who thought they could made money putting it on display. Glad the other cat was able to have surgery...I hope they are both able to have long and healthy lives!

this kind of thing always makes me sad. i saw on tv once a snake with 2 seperate heads thus 2 brains the 2 heads were always in conflict over control of the 1 body. you say this cst had 2 faces but not 2 heads. are there also 2 brains

this is to strange. Hope everything works out for them but not sure that a big deal should be made over a deformed animal. Something must have gone wrong with the breeding???

I once read a story about a snake with two heads and it didn't last very long so I hope the cat with 2 heads will hae a happy life because after all, she/he will never be alone.

There are so many normal cats out there needing homes, and I'll bet alot of people will just want to own one of these for entertainment value. I mean, I'm glad they'll be adopted...

Interesting what nature can do, isn't it? The two-headed snakes and turtles are pretty neat. How about the lobster that is half male, half female - and half black, half white? Gotta love Animal Planet!

One has to wonder what caused the deformity to begin with. It sounds as though they can live happy lives despite the fact that they are a little different than what most people are used to.
