North Shore Animal League America will be joined by thousands of shelters around the world for an adoption extravaganza, Pet Adoptathon Weekend 2008. With the goal of saving the lives of homeless animals, thousands of puppies, kittens, dogs and cats will be available for adoption at the participating shelters nation-wide. Fourteen years since its inception, Pet Adoptathon has fostered over 300,000 loving adoptions.
