I finally found where Pet Wars info is! It's still pretty silly, if you ask me, but you can check it out under Pets & People. There a sub-tab there that says Pet Wars.

Thanks to 1Cakelady, I found it too. Now that I know about it, its actually fun. I've been looking through my pics to see if I have any "cuter" pics of my pets! LOL

I just joined, and can't find any info on Pet Wars. When i logged on today, i was informed that i have 5 wins and 8 losses, in the Pet Wars. Now, i didn't join in any Pet Wars, and have no clue what it is.

I agree. What is pet wars & how does one enter? My dog Peetie apparently has been in 2 battles. Scoring 1 win & 1 loss. Zootoo enlighten us.

Pet wars is a competition for the cutest pet in America. As soon as you download pictures, people can look at them and judge which pet is the cutest. Hope this helps!

Ok, folks, since so many of you found your way here asking about the Pet Wars, I'll share with you what I've learned since I posted the review about the Pet Wars.

(1) If you are already a registered zootoo.com user, your pet(s) are automatically entered in the Pet Wars.

(2)Click on the MyZootoo tab, then My Zoo.

(3)If you haven't already done so, upload photo(s) of your pet(s)

(4) If you upload more than one photo of one pet, choose the best or cutest photo of your pet then click on SET PICTURE. This will bring up a little box that you can manipulate to crop, resize, or position to get the best display of the photo.

(5) Bingo, you're done.

Then, to view the entire Pet Wars section, (thanks to 1cakelady for showing me where it is), click on HOME, then PETS & PEOPLE, then Pet Wars. You can select the type of animal - there's dogs, cats, horses, etc. and two photos at random of that type of animal will appear. Vote which one is the cutest! You can keep voting, there'll be two different photos brought up each round.

I agree with this comment. I didn't know anything about "Pet Wars" when I uploaded my pets pictures. I didn't put them on this website to have people judge the appearance of my animals. To be honest, once I saw pet wars and that my animals were being judged on their appearance, I tried to take their pictures off and cancel my account. But I can't figure out how to do it. As a result I rarely visit the zootoo site anymore and I don't participate in anything on it any more. I really find it distasteful to look at my page with the pictures of my animals with how "wins" and losses" they have. What is that about anyway?

Actually I think you should be asked FIRST if you want your pet(s) to participate in the Pet Wars voting but to me it's no big deal and it can be fun so I don't worry about it.

I totally agree! I had no idea that it is automatically entered and find it a little frustrating that I just joined and that my pet has 1 loss 0 win, its kind of like it says my dog isn't good or cute enough.

I followed the directions that LynnK. had in her comment for thechoosing photo, and I don't get the option to set picture. I can edit, delete,or e-mail it. I can't even change my pets profile photo. Am I an idiot or just not doing it right? And what in the world IS pet wars. There really needs to be a full web page explaining it in detail for us that just don't know.

Hi, me too. It says that your pet is automatically in the pet wars if your registered and I am but on my profile it says my dog hasn't done any pet wars yet and I just played the game but how do you get your dog on it. I just don't get it. I want my dog voted on.

hi, me to and i did reg my dog bear and when i go to look it says that he's Not yet participated in Pet Wars.What's going on i just want to know why it keeps on saying that..i thought he was all ready in it i did everything it said to do help!!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest I really don't like pet wars. We should have a choice. My animals must be "ugly", since my Chihuahua is now at 11/11, which is very surprising, and Keeshond at 52/23. My Chihuahua is pretty cute to most people, but not in pet wars. I guess you have to have a fluffy puppy in a glamour shot studio to get good votes.
