What a great program!
posted 5 years ago
VIPaws a a group of caring, compassionate volunteers and their well trained and screened pets who provide animal assisted activities and therapy in the Bloomington area.
One of my favorite VIPaws programs is ARF (Animal Reading Friends). Volunteers and their dogs visit libraries and schools and kids read to the dogs. The dogs get to listen to good stories, and the kids improve their reading skills in a fun and stress free manner.
Pros: Wonderful way to get people and animals together
Cons: needs more volunteers!

Fantastic program!
posted 5 years ago
VIPaws is a wonderful program for people in the Monroe County community to take advantage of. The coordinator of the program teaches respect and compassion for animals to program participants. I have no doubt that this program has enriched the lives of thousands and has spread pet education throughout the community.
Pros: everything about it!
Cons: nothing
