I'm a nonprofit administration major in college, and recently I found out I was chosen to be a NextGen Leader through American Humanics... with that, I get a scholarship that allows me to do an 300-hour internship free of financial worry. So I'm researching humane societies around the country, looking for somewhere that can offer an experience in development, planning, governance, fundraising, PR, etc. I'm totally stoked for the opportunity and I want to find somewhere that can really help me learn how to make a shelter successful in its community.
