A great collection of some of very intriguing cases

A great opportunity to read about horses such as Phar Lap, Alydar, Shergar and Dancers Image. Not only that but you can learn about a fire at Hawthorne Park in Chicago, as well as people involved in racing and incidents such as sponging. A good collection of photos too. Being around horse people for the past 12 years, I know there are some kooky people but this book has really opened my eyes about the sport of horse racing and the majestic thoroughbreds in it.
Pros: A good variety of stories about horses, racetracks and people
