Great but NOT the best

posted 5 years ago

Not nearly as good as EVO ferret food which is like feeding a raw diet. A couple other ones are better than ZuPreem but it is defiantly still good. During my beginning years having ferrets this is what I fed them, until I found out about EVO. My ferrets liked ZuPreem and had healthy stool, skin, and coat, but not compared to when they ate EVO.

Pros: Good ingredients and nutritional value, no BHT, BHA, ethoxyquin or corn

Cons: No live active probotic cultures, could have better ingredients and nutritional value

ZuPreem gives the greenies

posted 6 years ago

ZuPreem Premium Ferret Diet provides all the essential nutrients a growing ferret needs. My ferret, Rocky, always seemed satisfied with the taste, well, he never had trouble eating it, that's for sure. The only downfall for ZuPreem was the random greenies. Greenies are when the stool is green or has a greenish tint to it. It's not uncommon but it did happen a few times while Rovky was eating this ZuPreem. It could be just him but it happened and you should know about it.

Pros: tasty with essential nutrients

Cons: greenies
