The quick release on this makes it easy to remove to refill and the double metal balls means it does not leak....ever. Like all water bottles, though, you have to disassemble the top to be sure it is cleaned well with soap and water so bacteria does not grow. This is with any water bottle or even bowls so not a comment on this particular product.

I have one of these on one rabbit cage, and a different water bottle on the dwarf's cage. This is also larger than on the dwarf''s cage, so I do not have to worry that my large rabbit runs out of water during the day.
