Good short term idea

posted 4 years ago

it is a good short term item as long as you plan on buying another one every couple months. If u are looking for a permanent item to put in there cage this is not it. they can play with it and poop and pee in it and it is impossible to clean. You really cannot clean it. It is just cardboard so it will eventually end up being completely unsanitary for your pet. The animals do love it and all you have to do is put it in there cage and they will play with it. Like i said, good for short term but not permanent.

Pros: guinea pigs love it, safe to chew on, good hide away.

Cons: gets dirty easily, stains, falls apart

Stuffing was a miss, but tunnel was a hit!

posted 4 years ago

Our guinea pigs really seem to like the cardboard tunnels. They hide in them, push them around and travel through them. They also like to chew on the ends of the tunnels. The stuffing, however, went ignored and all it seemed to do was gather the pine bedding. After a few days we removed the stuffing and just threw it out, but the tunnels can last a very long time. Maybe a hamster or another other type of animal that makes nests would enjoy the stuffing more than guinea pigs.

Pros: Guinea pigs love the tunnels

Cons: stuffing just sticks to pine bedding chips

Use in small animal habitats

posted 5 years ago

I use these in the small animal habitats at Petco. The rats, ferrets and guinea pigs love them however the rats will chew on them. They come in varying sizes and colors and are sturdy.

Pros: Different sizes

Cons: Chewed by some animals

Great for small animals!

posted 5 years ago

My two female rats LOVE to destroy these. I buy them the largest available, so it'll last a while in their cage. My male rat has 2 Chubes. One for his cage, one for his carrier. He sleeps in them, doesn't chew on them or otherwise destroy them. So, depending on which cage the Chube goes into, it's either destroyed or worshipped. :)

Pros: Long lasting!

Cons: None.

Fun for guinea pigs

posted 4 years ago

These cardboard tunnels are a blast for guinea pigs. They come in different sizes and have been enjoyed by every guinea pigs I've ever had. They're disposable, being cardboard, so when they get soiled, you toss them. My guinea pigs eat the edges so it gives them something to chew on, as well. Fun item. I recommend them.

Pros: Endless fun

Cons: can't be washed
