My hamsters loved this treat. They would make a project of it.

One on each end seeing who could get more of the inside out first.

Once they got to a point where they could not reach anymore of the filling they would proceeds with the destruction of the shell.

Set aside at first, then they would go back to it after the filling was completely gone.

They loved it and it was fun for us to watch their tiny little minds figure out a game plan.

None of my four pets really enjoyed this treat. They would nibble on it every now and then, but they enjoy the ones they can play in much more. I ended up throwing it away once it got old and gross. In the end, they had hardly eaten any of it. I think they would have liked it more if it didn't have the hard shell around it, and it was just the seed treat.

My daughter's guinea pigs loved the inside of this treat. They finished it within a week. The outside has lasted much longer. They chew it occasionally and it helps keep their teeth worn down.

Cons: inside didn't last long

The guinea pig could have cared less about this treat stuffed "log" but the hamsters seem to really like it. They have been nibbling away on it for awhile now.
