I don't ever remember having Gerbils,Mice,and Hamsters,without having one of these boots in their Habitat.It seems to be a Beginners first item of purchase. lol
They withstand the test of time.The plastic is very hard and durable.Although a few animals did make an attempt to chew on the end,these boots were used mainly for a sleep area or a secret place to venture through when playing,and gave not only the humans,but the fur babies many hours of enjoyment.
I'm in the process of looking for a picture,but I'm also positive that I used one of these in a fish tank a few years ago.
I would definitely recommend,as they hold up very well.

My hamster loved climbing in and out, and all over this thing. It brought us great joy to watch him enjoying his toy that we bought him. It wasnt hard to clean at all either.

My first hamster had one of these, but it was purple and he loved it! He would "hide" in there and then go stuff his cheeks full of seed and push it all out in the very back of the shoe. Its made of hard plastic and is not expensive. Get one if you have a hamster!
