NOT for guinea pigs

Salt and mineral wheels should not be given to guinea pigs. They are prone to bladder and kidney stones which are due to added minerals. They get all the nutrients they need from a well balanced diet. The only thing I would supplement is vitamin C.
Pros: might be a good supplement for animals needing salt
Cons: not for guinea pigs
