Guinea pigs get all the nutrients they need from a well balanced diet including timothy hay GP pellets, unlimited hay, fresh veggies. Mineral supplements are not recommended and should be avoided. Use these for animals that require the minerals, but don't give to guinea pigs.
Pros: good for animals requiring added minerals
Cons: minerals and calcium can lead to stones in guinea pigs
