Rats' choice

posted 6 years ago

Rats pick at this product. They nibble out their favorite bits and spit out the rest. It maybe easy to feed but after the rats get to it there are food residue everywhere.

It may be a good idea to offer food all the time but with rats like Remy their taste is more refined. I prefer to offer food many times a day in smaller portions as this curbs overeating. Try fresh carrots or bananas or organic seeds instead of a processed diet for our rodent friends. Check the internet rat clubs for diet requirements of pet rats.

Pros: Easy to assemble

Cons: Unhealthy
