my vet recommended that i put some pure vitamin e (squeeze from capsule) on my rabbit's sore hocks.

When my dogs’ coats were getting dry and a little flakey, my vet suggested giving fish oil or vitamin E. Since the vitamin E was already in the house and seemed easy to get we tried it and it seemed to work. Our dogs’ coats are shiny and no more flakes. I give one 400 I.U. soft gel a day with their breakfast. I usually skip the weekends since I don’t want to overdo it. I buy a big bottle at Costco and try to remember to take it myself, but my dogs get it more than me.

i take vitamin e every day. my big dog had a rash that used to use to appear on his belly/ started giving him vitamin e d-alpha and the rash has never come back. his coat shines also
