If you have a ferret or are considering getting one (rescue, don't buy!), this cage should be on your list of stuff to get. Here's why:
1. Ease of assembly. The instructions that come with it are very good. I do recommend 2 people if possible, so that one person can hold bits together while the other person tightens the screws. We had it all assembled (both levels) in about 40 minutes. It's very well made and solid. We did our own lead test on the paint and it came up negative.
2. Customization. If all of your ferrets get along, you can enable them to climb from one cage to the other via a little ramp for good exercise. If you'd prefer to keep them separate, the ramp clips up and covers the opening. You can move shelves and ladders anywhere you want in the cage. If you get more ferrets, you can add levels easily.
3. Ease of cleaning. The doors open wide to allow easy access to litter boxes, bedding, hammock clips, etc. This is probably the biggest plus for us. You can take out the plastic trays in the bottom and wash them if you need to.
4. Roomy. Because of the size, it's easy to provide our ferrets with separate areas for eating, playing, sleeping, and using the litterbox. We had to move things around to make the room for this big cage, but we're happy we did. Seriously, who wants the toilet and kitchen to be 2 inches from each other?

I really can't find any fault with this cage. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in keeping ferrets.

I use this cage for my ferrets. It's wonderful!!! It's extremely durable. The bars are powder-coated so you don't have to worry about rust. The cage doors open completely. The trays are easy to remove for cleaning. If you want, you can purchase additional levels and they are simple to add. If you have a ferret who is misbehaving or a little under the weather, the levels can easily be blocked off by turning the trays. If you need to move the cage, it's on rollers!!! I highly recommend this cage. It's worth every penny!!!

I have been wanting this cage for sometime and a couple weeks ago i finally got one! I had a super pet cage before and it was a great cage, but after deciding to get another ferret we decided its time for a bigger and better cage. This one is so easy to clean because the doors open up all the way. Its huge and very roomy for my ferrets to sleep and play in. The only problem i have with it is that the bottom tray isnt tall enough, so when they use the bathroom and dont go in the litter box it just goes out the sides. With a few minor adjustments though its not really a problem. But overall i think this is the best cage out there for ferrets!
