Oxbow Bunny Basics/t

We have had to special order this but it is worth it. All of our rabbits have loved this food and it is a high quality food. We have been very happy with all the Oxbow products.

Pros: Healthy food for adult rabbits

Cons: hard to find and a bit more expensive

This is the stuff vets recommend, and it is definitely a high quality adult rabbit pellet. In fact, because I hadn't realized that my Princess wasn't fully grown when I got her, she ate it starting around six months of age and had no problems growing up. (Whoops.) She loves them - snarfs her food down like a vacuum cleaner - and the various foster rabbits I've had in the past year and a half have also taken to eating these pellets readily.

My only issues are the cost (whether I buy from a local store or have it shipped, it's about the same and it's kind of prohibitive when I'm buying 50 lb. bags) and the smaller size pellet (there's more powdered food at the bottom of the bag than with a larger size pellet).

Pros: highly recommended

Cons: small pellet size breaks up easily
