Oxbow Bunny Basics /T All rabbits need high fiber to keep their digestive systems working properly, plus basic vitamins and minerals to maximize their health. The “T” stands for timothy grass. Bunny Basics/T combines needed fiber with stabilized nutrients to assure a well-balanced diet when served with Oxbow loose grass hays. Oxbow Animal Health’s founder and owner John Miller created the industry’s first timothy-based pellet for small herbivores, the basis of Bunny Basics/T. Made from timothy grass meal, Bunny Basics/T is specifically designed to meet the particular nutritional needs of adult rabbits. Adult nutritional needs are lower than those of animals in the growth stage of life. Rabbits are designed to eat and digest fiber found in plant material. Timothy grass hay provides the fiber necessary to maintain intestinal health, and makes Bunny Basics/T the veterinarian's number one choice for your adult rabbit. The perfect base to a perfect rabbit diet

posted 4 years ago

Oxbow is a wonderful brand that has great quality products. This food is no different, it doesn't contain fillers in the pellets or in the bag (corn, oats) and the bunnies still love their "health" food. Pellets should never be the only source of food, but it's the perfect place to start a healthy diet!

Pros: very healthy - no fillers, all good stuff, always fresh

Cons: price, hard to find but that's getting better
