EMT Gel is the latest scientific breakthrough in natural wound management. Applied to the wound site, it seals off nerve endings to diminish pain. It reduces bleeding and forms a protective barrier that protects the wound from infection! Best of all, EMT Gel has a unique collagen formula that speeds healing by giving the body a framework on which to build new cells. It also reduces itching, thereby helping discourage animals from licking, biting and chewing the wound site. EMT Gel is all-natural, biodegradable and non-toxic. It can be left on the wound, making dressing changes easier and quicker. In test after test in wound clinics and universities, EMT Gel has proven effective in wound care.

Miracle product!!

posted 5 years ago

EMT gel is something we'll never be without again. We've patched up countless cuts and scrapes with this stuff and it forms such a nice protected scab area AND gives them a dose of antibiotic at the same time. The only way this product could be any better is if it weren't so sticky - I often feel like I'm going to become permanently stuck to the dog while applying it.

Pros: heals wounds, stays put, works really well

Cons: incredibly sticky when applying, hard to clean wound after it's been applied

For wounds , itdoes keep out flies and closes the wound

posted 5 years ago

I have used this for my donkeys. I lived near a dairy farm and had a lot of blowflies and biting flies. I used it for any scratches or bad fly bites-after cleaning them well first of course. It worked very well as far as keeping out contamination and flies or irritating gnats. I also used it on a dog in summer time, it worked less well, possibly for the reasons I stated in my Con , that it may close the wound too well not allowing air and drainage in. I think it is a matter of using it on the right type of wound and animal. Not too keen on using this in a deep wound exept as an emergency close, I am not an expert though. On the dog, it was ok but amy have puppeld on the edges of the wound too much. As I said ,worked well on the smooth mucular are of a alrger animal, which did not have a doeep wuond, the scrathes and bad flybites healed perfectly with no distress for the animal.

Pros: closes wounds, keeps off flies

Cons: MAY keep wounds closed so they can`t drain or heal:use caution and common sense

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
