When I worked at an animal shelter we gave timothy hay to all of our rabbits. We filled their litter boxes with them and they would sit and eat and eat. They got so excited when they saw the new hay coming and couldn't wait to dive in. It's a big help with hairballs since rabbits can get blockages and the hay keeps things moving to prevent that. It's healthy for the rabbits and they love it. The shelter rabbits would eat a double handful a day. The only con I can think of is that the hay needs to be changed out every day since it tends to get messy with rabbit droppings and such.

since sulcatas are graizers I give him this weekly it is cheap and it is good for him. I supliment his regular feeding with this
