Great litter

posted 5 years ago

After searching for a good litter for my rabbits, I finally decided on using Yesterday's News. Before that I had tried some other kinds, all supposedly rabbit safe and a few of them were a disaster. My family was very happy when I found Yesterday's News because now my room doesn't smell. The only problem I have had is that one of my rabbit likes paper, so he enjoys eating it if I let him. To solve that problem I found a plastic grate thingy that cost about 65 cents at Walmart in the craft section and cut it to cover the litter in the litter box. This has been very effective.

Pros: It is aborbent, not smelly, and safe.

Cons: bunnies at times like to eat it

Pros: Great for buns!

Cons: none.

Great for rabbits

posted 5 years ago

This is one of my favorite litters. It's safe for rabbits and is made from recycled products which are both priorities to me. It doesn't smell and is easy to use which are also pluses. It can be a bit pricey over other products, but I haven't been able to find anything significantly cheaper that is still safe for a rabbit aside from shredding up my own news papers.

Pros: safe for rabbits

Cons: a little pricey

Our rabbit rescue recommends this type of litter. It is very absorbant and controls odor well. It is pretty easy to clean out of the litter box, too.

Pros: absorbant, controls odor

Cons: can be knocked out of litter box

Great for Rabbits

posted 5 years ago

I've been using this for my rabbits for years. I find it more absorbant, better with odor, and less messy than CareFresh.

Tip for rabbit people: Get this in the cat litter aisle. The small bags located in the Small Pet section of the store are much more expensive. There's no difference, except in the price.

Pros: Safe for rabbits, absorbant, controls odor well

Cons: None
