I tried using this litter and although as a litter it is great, my rabbit just dug in it and scattered it around her cage and spilled it out into the kitchen.

I went to lining the litter with regular sheets of non colored newspaper and covering it with hay. She stopped digging and I no longer have litter spread all over.

If your rabbit does not dig in her litter, this is a great product...otherwise, I would go with sheets of newspaper with hay over it.

I used this before they labeled it for rabbits. It is perfect for rabbit use. I would never use it for cats.

this product hold oders very well, and small animals even cats seem to like it.

the dark color makes it hard to check for blood in urine (for bladder infections, etc), but it doesn't smell, is cheap, and makes you feel "green" because it's made from recycled newspaper! i use the stuff that's made for cats because you can get that in larger bags, but they're essentially the same.

I used Yesterday's News for a while. It absorbed well and controlled odors, but I didn't like the pelleted nature of it. It looked too much like food!
