Do Not Use Wood Shavings on Rabbits!

posted 6 years ago

Wood shavings caused my bunny to get a abscess in his cheek. The bunnies will eat the wood and the wood chip can get stuck in there cheek and get infected. my bunny went under a very extensive surgery to have it drained. use soft bedding only or yesterdays news!!!!! NO WOOD.

Pros: smells good

Cons: WARNING can cause abscesses!
