If you have a LitterMaid, you are familiar with these little boxes. I have a love/hate relationship with these, but mostly love. I like that they hold about a weeks worth of waste and that they stay firmly in place no matter how often my confused kitties try to dig at them. Then again, I've recently come across a box of these that had a manufacturing flaw in them that caused them to not quite fit in the litter box. This wasn't a problem until I went to change the receptacle, at which point the plastic bent in the middle and made it difficult to remove from the litterbox. Once I was able to remove it, the receptacle nearly buckled under the weight of the waste inside of it, and I almost spilled it (what a mess that would have been). Again, this is not typical - most of these items are made well and work well.

Pros: A box of these lasts for months, usually easy to work with

Cons: Somewhat expensive, can be a bit flimsy

I had an old LitterMaid, and the containers never held enough with multiple cats. Then when we picked it up, it would bend in the middle, dropping litter on the floor. Buying these containers are kind of a costly thing, as the machine can't work without them.

Pros: scoops poop

Cons: easily filled, collapses under weight

This is a must in order to use the littermaid machine. You can use them more than once as the littermaid assures the pooh is dryed and in a clump.

Pros: can use more than once and made of good quality plastic

Cons: none

You have to have these if you buy a littermaid. These are the waste recepticles and they really work.
Odors are eliminated becuase the waste gets scooped into htese recepticles. Then you just throw out the filled recepticle and insert a new one. Sure beats scooping.
Don't particularly think I should rate the smell of this product.

Pros: toss it out in the trash

Cons: none

These containers work well for holding and easy disposal of cat waste.

Pros: Catches almost all waste

Cons: You still have to change the litter
