This is a great rat cage! The spacing of the steel bars is 1/2" so rats can't escape but it provides them with an open cage. Great ventilation! There are 5 levels which gives a rat plenty of room to roam and play and plenty of space for you to put up a hammock, a slide, etc! The only issue I have with it is that I wish it were bigger. It is 3 feet tall and that is great, but it is only 2 feet wide and 18" deep. I wish they made one that was a little wider.

I didn't buy one, but have heard they are great, I looked at it and made one similar out of rabbit wire I had from my show animals still.
