I've used this gauze for medical purposes and it's great. Lately I've been using it to wrap a few of my Parrot's perches. He doesn't like to stand on things that are too smooth so the gause gives him some texture to grip onto. The one minor drawback I've found is that it can be a bit "loopy" and occasionally he gets a toe caught.

I use gauze for the family and also with my pets. it not only can be used to protect a wound, it's great to clean areas around their eyes, etc. where you want to make sure you use a sterile product. Cushions cuts and scrapes.

A must have for your pets first aid kit. Can also be used for humans.
