My bird injured his toe and his toe nail and I had to bandage his foot. My husband had bought some of these and I thought these would be great for wrapping the foot after sanitizing, applying underlying guaze.

I then wrapped it in this. It was a little clumsy for the bird to walk but it worked as the bird could not chew through it which is highly abnormal.

However, when I went to take it off myself, neither could I get it off. It took me days of working on it a little at a time with a fine scissors and jewelers glasses to be sure I did not cut the bird in order to get this off. It is like it sealed together like cast material.

Better to be used on larger animals. Not on very small animals like birds. And don't pull it too tight.
