We use our Stethoscope often at the shelter and without it we would be lost. This is a durable stethoscope that we have had for years. Excellent

I have always had a stethoscope in the house since my previous cat had a heart murmur and developed heart disease. I have used it several times on my current pets. It can be very handy to have in the house, as it can be used for more than one purpose. I have used it to listen to the cats' and dogs' heartbeats, as well as my rabbit's gut sounds. That was probably the most important use with my current animals because I suspected he might have GI stasis. You never know when you might need a stethoscope to evaluate a pet's health.
